Lessons are built around your ability and what you want to accomplish. Our best instructors are here to help you reach your goals — be it better carving, bumps, freestyle or just one-on-one attention for the first time up the hill.
Frequently Asked Questions
Who instructs the classes?
Snow Sports Northwest provides well-trained instructors who are long-standing members of the Professional Ski Instructors of America - Northwest Division (PSIA-NW).
Where is Ski School?
Lessons are at Summit Central in the Snoqualmie Pass on Highway I-90. Click here for directions to the meeting area and SSNW lodge.
What if I am late for lessons?
To avoid a late arrival, SSNW recommends arriving at the parking lot at least one hour before lessons start. This will allow enough time to purchase tickets, eat a snack, and find the meeting area. If your child is late, please notify a Program Supervisor when you arrive at the meeting area. Program Supervisors know which students are missing and will do their best to find your child’s class.
Where can I buy or eat my lunch?
There are several choices of dining at the main lodge. However, we recommend bringing a sack lunch.
Do I need my own equipment?
Yes. Students need to be equipped and clothed for the snow before the lessons start. For skiers, this means snow clothing, ski boots, and skis (poles are optional and not recommended for the younger skiers). For snowboarders, the means snow clothing, snowboard boots, snowboard, and a leash.
Is there transportation up to the mountain?
There are several companies that provide transportation. However, we recommend that you form ride pools with your friends. This allows you more time with your family and friends.
What is the refund policy?
SnowSports Northwest reserves the sole right to refund or reschedule a cancelled session and to consider a partially completed session as completed.
What is the cancellation policy?
